Pink Ribbon Stars

I did this piece for a friend who was giving it as a gift. It was created about mid-October, but I forgot to take a picture and finally got the picture in mid-November.

October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so it was actually quite fitting that I made this during that month.

The background is tracing paper in various shades of pink collaged on to an A4 sized canvas. The ribbon itself is formed from pink paper origami stars of various sizes.
